Overview
The FOD8012A is a high-speed logic gate optocoupler produced by onsemi. It is designed for isolated communications, allowing digital signals to be transmitted between systems without conducting ground loops or hazardous voltages. This half-duplex, bi-directional optocoupler utilizes onsemi’s patented coplanar packaging technology, OPTOPLANAR®, and optimized IC design to achieve a minimum 20 kV/μs Common Mode Noise Rejection (CMR) rating.
