Overview
The VN340SP-E and VN340SP-33-E are monolithic devices developed using STMicroelectronics' VIPower technology. These devices are designed to drive four independent resistive or inductive loads with one side connected to ground. They feature active current limitation to prevent the system power supply from dropping in case of a shorted load. Additionally, built-in thermal shutdown protects the chip from overtemperature and short-circuit conditions. The open drain diagnostic output indicates overtemperature conditions, and each I/O is pulled down when the overtemperature condition of the relative channel is verified.
