Overview
The STDRIVE101TR, produced by STMicroelectronics, is a low voltage gate driver designed for driving three-phase brushless motors. It is a single-chip solution that integrates three half-bridge gate drivers for N-channel power MOSFETs. Each driver has a current capability of 600 mA (sink/source) and features a low drop linear regulator that generates the supply voltage for both low-side and high-side gate drivers through a bootstrap circuitry. The device includes Under Voltage Lock Out (UVLO) protection on both the low-side and high-side sections to prevent the power switches from operating in inefficient or dangerous conditions. The control logic supports two input strategies: ENx/INx with adjustable deadtime generation and INHx/INLx with interlocking, ensuring prevention from cross conduction.
