Overview
The STDRIVE601 is a high-voltage gate driver device manufactured by STMicroelectronics using BCD6s offline technology. It is a single-chip solution that integrates three half-bridge gate drivers, making it suitable for N-channel power MOSFETs or IGBTs in 3-phase applications. The device is designed to ensure high reliability and efficiency, featuring dedicated input pins for each output, a shutdown pin, and CMOS/TTL compatible logic inputs down to 3.3 V. The STDRIVE601 also includes advanced protection features such as SmartSD for overcurrent and overtemperature protection, interlocking and deadtime functions to prevent cross conduction, and UVLO protection to prevent operation in low efficiency or dangerous conditions. The integrated bootstrap diodes and other features simplify PCB design, making it more compact and reducing the overall bill of materials.
