Overview
The MC74HC74ADT, produced by onsemi, is a dual D-type flip-flop with set and reset inputs. This device is part of the HC (High-Speed CMOS) logic family and is designed to operate within a wide voltage range. It is identical in pinout to the LS74 and is compatible with standard CMOS outputs as well as LSTTL outputs when used with pull-up resistors.
The MC74HC74ADT consists of two D flip-flops, each with individual set, reset, and clock inputs. The information at the D-input is transferred to the corresponding Q output on the next positive-going edge of the clock input. Both Q and Q' outputs are available from each flip-flop, and the set and reset inputs are asynchronous.
