Overview
The FOD3150T is a 1.0A output current gate drive optocoupler produced by onsemi. It is designed to drive most 800V/20A IGBTs and MOSFETs, making it ideal for fast switching applications in motor control inverter systems and high-performance power systems. The device utilizes onsemi’s patented coplanar packaging technology, Optoplanar®, and an optimized IC design to achieve high noise immunity characterized by high common mode rejection. It consists of a gallium aluminum arsenide (AlGaAs) light emitting diode optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a high-speed driver for a push-pull MOSFET output stage.
