Overview
The VNI8200XPTR, produced by STMicroelectronics, is a monolithic 8-channel driver designed using the VIPower™ technology. This IC is intended to drive any type of load with one side connected to ground, operating within a voltage range of 10.5 V to 36 V. It features a very low supply current, making it energy-efficient in both OFF and ON states. The device supports both parallel and serial (SPI) control interfaces, with the SPI interface capable of operating up to 5 MHz in 8-bit or 16-bit modes. The VNI8200XPTR also includes a 100 mA micropower step-down switching regulator and a 4x2 LED matrix for output status indication.
