Overview
The VNH7100BASTR is a fully integrated H-bridge motor driver designed by STMicroelectronics for a wide range of automotive applications. This device incorporates a dual monolithic high-side driver and two low-side switches, utilizing STMicroelectronics' proprietary VIPower® M0 technology. This technology integrates a true Power MOSFET with intelligent signal and protection circuitry on the same die. The device is packaged in an SO-16N package with electrically isolated leadframes, ensuring superior manufacturability at the board level. The input signals INA and INB can directly interface with a microcontroller to control the motor direction and brake condition, while the MultiSense pin allows for monitoring the motor current.
