Overview
The NCT1008, produced by onsemi, is a dual-channel digital thermometer designed for precise temperature monitoring and over/under temperature alarm functions. It is particularly suited for use in PCs, thermal management systems, smart phones, desktop and notebook computers, smart batteries, automotive systems, and embedded systems. The device features series resistance cancellation, allowing accurate temperature measurements even with up to 1.5 kΩ of series resistance. It communicates via a 2-wire SMBus/I2C interface and supports extended temperature measurement ranges.
