Overview
The NCN5192MNG, produced by onsemi, is a single-chip, CMOS modem designed for use in Highway Addressable Remote Transducer (HART) field instruments and masters. This modem integrates all the necessary functions to meet HART physical layer requirements, including modulation, demodulation, receive filtering, carrier detection, and transmit-signal shaping. It also features an integrated 16-bit Sigma-Delta DAC for low-BOM current loop slave transmitter implementation. The NCN5192MNG operates at a half-duplex mode with a bit rate of 1200 bits per second using phase continuous frequency shift keying (FSK) with frequencies of 1200 Hz and 2200 Hz.
