onsemi’s Hassane El-Khoury Discusses Intelligent Power and Sensing

At last week’s electronica 2024 in Munich, Germany, onsemi introduced its Treo modular analog mixed signal technology platform that enables the company to provide application specific products for intelligent sensing. Here we present a video interview from the show with the CEO of onsemi, Hassane El-Khoury, where we discuss this new Treo platform, and also talk more broadly about recent company developments and strategic orientation.

Focusing on intelligent power and sensor technologies supporting a sustainable environment, he talks about onsemi’s approach to the electric car industry, and covers onsemi’s position in wide-bandgap materials, including GaN and SiC, as well as the company’s focus on robust, regionally dispersed production. Finally, El-Khoury provides his thoughts on how he is trying to maintain onsemi’s edge in the fast changing semiconductor industry, and this includes support for innovation, drawing talent and industry-academic cooperation.
