Electronica 2024 takes place next week (November 12-15) in Munich, Germany, and the biennial event is going to be packed with interesting electronics technology, and to give you a sneak peek, in this newsletter we’re sharing highlights from a few select companies that have told us what they’ll be showing at this year’s event.
Rohm Semiconductor to Feature Solutions for E-Mobility, Automotive, and Industrial
Rohm Semiconductor says its theme at Electronica is "Empowering Growth, Inspiring Innovation.” With that in mind, Rohm will show its various demo application stations in “tree style” as shown in the figure below. The demos will highlight how Rohm’s high-quality semiconductor technologies contribute to solving critical social and ecological challenges.
The focus will be on driving sustainability in electronic design and innovation, which aligns with the growing emphasis on creating environmentally responsible solutions within the industry.
At Electronica 2024, the company’s exhibition space has been greatly expanded and the number of items on display has been increased to 30—more than three times compared to the previous show. The solutions will be exhibited under the three themes of E-Mobility, Automotive, and Industrial technologies.

STMicro to Showcase Technologies for IIoT, Embedded, Power Electronics, and More

NXP Focuses on Edge Tech Such as Wireless Comms, Battery Management, and More
At Electronica 2024, NXP says it will focus on edge technologies such as wireless communication for battery management, energy optimization across entire grids, and more. Their booth demos will show how NXP’s robust, open architecture electrification solutions enable safer, more secure two-way communication from electrified endpoints to the cloud.

Nordic Will Unveil the First Devices of Its nRF54 Series of Low Power BLE SoCs
Nordic Semiconductor will launch the first products from its nRF54 series of ultra-low power Bluetooth Low Energy Systems-on-Chip (SoCs).
According to Nordic, the nRF54 series represents significant advances in wireless IoT connectivity. It offers high processing power, increased memory capacity, and superior energy efficiency in a compact package. SoCs from this series have broad applicability in sectors including consumer, industrial, and healthcare.
Nordic will also feature substantial enhancements to its nRF91 Series with the availability of its newly launched nRF9151, a low-power System-in-Package (SiP) with integrated LTE-M/NB-IoT and DECT NR+ modem, and GNSS.
