Overview
The DAC7744E from Texas Instruments is a high-performance, 16-bit, quad voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC). It is designed to provide guaranteed 16-bit monotonic performance over a specified temperature range. The DAC7744E accepts 16-bit parallel input data and features double-buffered DAC input logic, allowing for the simultaneous update of all DACs. It also includes a readback mode for the internal input registers and a programmable asynchronous reset that can clear all registers to either mid-scale or zero-scale codes.
This device operates from either a single +15V supply or from dual supplies of +15V and -15V, along with a +5V supply. Its low power consumption and compact 48-lead SSOP package make it ideal for various industrial and automotive applications.
