Overview
The IPS160H, produced by STMicroelectronics, is a monolithic single high-side switch capable of driving capacitive, resistive, or inductive loads with one side connected to ground. This device operates within an 8 V to 60 V voltage range and features an on-state resistance (RDS(on)) of 60 mΩ. It is designed to address higher Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) with extended diagnostic capabilities for open load, overload, and overtemperature conditions. The IPS160H includes built-in overload and thermal shutdown protections to safeguard the IC, the application, and the load against electrical and thermal overstress.
