Overview
The DAC7614P is a quad, serial input, 12-bit, voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) produced by Burr-Brown. It is designed to provide guaranteed 12-bit monotonic performance over a temperature range of –40°C to +85°C. The device features a classic R-2R ladder configuration followed by an operational amplifier that serves as a buffer. Each of the four DACs has its own R-2R ladder network and output op-amp, but all share the reference voltage inputs. The DAC7614P can be powered from either a single +5V supply or dual ±5V supplies, and it includes a user-selectable reset function that sets all DAC output voltages and internal registers to either zero-scale or mid-scale.
