Overview
The FSFR2100XS is a highly integrated power switch designed by onsemi for high-efficiency half-bridge resonant converters. This component simplifies the design process while enhancing productivity and performance. It combines power MOSFETs with fast-recovery type body diodes, a high-side gate-drive circuit, an accurate current controlled oscillator, a frequency limit circuit, soft-start, and built-in protection functions. The high-side gate-drive circuit features common-mode noise cancellation, ensuring stable operation with excellent noise immunity. The use of zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) technique significantly reduces switching losses and improves efficiency, also minimizing switching noise and allowing for a smaller EMI filter.
