Overview
The ADT7481ARMZ-1, produced by onsemi, is a 3-channel digital thermometer and under/over temperature alarm. It is designed for use in PCs and thermal management systems, allowing it to measure its own ambient temperature as well as the temperature of two remote thermal diodes. These diodes can be located in CPUs, GPUs, or as discrete diode-connected transistors. The device communicates via a 2-wire serial interface compatible with system management bus (SMBus) standards and features an active-low ALERT output to signal when temperatures exceed programmed limits.
