Overview
The ADuM1300BRW is a triple-channel digital isolator produced by Analog Devices Inc., utilizing the iCoupler® technology. This component combines high-speed CMOS and monolithic transformer technology to provide superior performance characteristics compared to traditional optocouplers. The iCoupler technology eliminates the use of LEDs and photodiodes, thereby avoiding issues such as uncertain current transfer ratios, nonlinear transfer functions, and temperature and lifetime effects. This results in stable performance and reduced power consumption, with the device consuming one-tenth to one-sixth of the power of optocouplers at comparable data rates.
