SCRs - Modules
Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCRs) - Modules are a type of thyristor used in power electronics to control and convert electrical power. These devices are essentially solid-state switches that can handle high voltages and currents, making them ideal for controlling large amounts of power. An SCR operates by allowing current to flow only when a gate signal is applied, effectively acting as a switch. Once triggered, the SCR remains in the conducting state until the current falls below a certain threshold, known as the holding current. This characteristic makes SCRs highly efficient for applications requiring controlled rectification and switching.
