Coaxial Connectors (RF)
Coaxial connectors, often referred to as RF connectors, are specialized electrical connectors designed to work with coaxial cables. These connectors are engineered to maintain the shielding that coaxial cables provide, ensuring minimal signal loss and interference. The primary function of coaxial connectors is to connect and disconnect RF signals in a controlled manner. They achieve this by using a central conductor surrounded by a dielectric insulator, which is then encased in a cylindrical conducting shield. This design helps in maintaining the integrity of the signal by preventing electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI).
