Overview
The MM5452V/NOPB is a liquid crystal display (LCD) driver integrated circuit produced by Texas Instruments. This monolithic IC utilizes CMOS metal gate, low threshold enhancement mode devices and is available in 40-pin PDIP and 44-pin PLCC packages. The MM5452 is designed to drive up to 32 segments of LCD and can be paralleled to increase this number, making it capable of driving a 4½-digit 7-segment display with minimal interface between the display and the data source. Although this product is no longer in production, it remains relevant for existing designs and maintenance.
