Overview
The DRV8316RRGFR, produced by Texas Instruments, is a highly integrated 3-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor driver. This device provides a single-chip power stage solution for driving 12-V and 24-V BLDC motors. It integrates three 1/2-H bridges with a 40-V absolute maximum capability and features very low RDS(ON) of 95 mΩ (high-side plus low-side) to enable high power drive capability. The DRV8316RRGFR includes built-in current sensing, eliminating the need for external sense resistors, and offers multiple control interface options for flexible configuration.
