Overview
The ADS825E/1K is a high-performance, 10-bit, 40-MSPS Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) produced by Texas Instruments. This pipeline, CMOS ADC operates from a single +5V power supply and is available in a 28-pin SSOP (DB) package. It is designed to provide excellent performance with both single-ended and differential analog inputs, making it suitable for a variety of demanding applications such as medical imaging, test equipment, computer scanners, communications, and video digitizing.
The ADS825E/1K features digital error correction techniques to ensure excellent differential linearity, low distortion, and high Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and Spurious-Free Dynamic Range (SFDR). It also offers a power-down mode to reduce power dissipation from 190mW to 20mW, and it is compatible with both +3V and +5V logic I/O.
