The VNH3ASP30-E is a full-bridge motor driver designed by STMicroelectronics for a wide range of automotive applications. This device integrates a dual monolithic high-side driver (HSD) and two low-side switches, utilizing STMicroelectronics' proprietary VIPower™ M0 technology and STripFET™ process. The HSD switch combines a true Power MOSFET with an intelligent signal/protection circuit on the same die, while the low-side switches are vertical MOSFETs. The components are assembled in a MultiPowerSO-30 package with electrically isolated lead frames, offering improved thermal performance and superior manufacturability due to its fully symmetrical mechanical design.

The device allows direct interface with microcontrollers to control motor direction and brake conditions. It also features pins for enabling the bridge and providing digital diagnostic signals. The motor speed can be controlled using PWM signals up to 20 kHz.
