Overview
The VND920P-E is a double chip device designed by STMicroelectronics using the VIPower™ M0-3 technology. This device is intended for driving any type of load with one side connected to ground, making it suitable for various automotive and industrial applications. It features an active VCC pin voltage clamp to protect against low energy spikes, as well as active current limitation combined with thermal shutdown and automatic restart to protect against overload. The device also integrates an analog current sense output that delivers a current proportional to the load current and automatically turns off if the ground pin becomes disconnected.
