Overview
The VND920 is a double chip device designed in STMicroelectronics™ VIPower™ M0-3 technology. It is intended for driving any type of load with one side connected to ground. The device features an active VCC pin voltage clamp that protects against low energy spikes, as well as active current limitation combined with thermal shutdown and automatic restart to protect against overload. Additionally, it integrates an analog current sense output that delivers a current proportional to the load current and automatically turns off if the ground pin becomes disconnected.
