Overview
The VN610SP is a monolithic device produced by STMicroelectronics, utilizing their VIPower M0-3 technology. It is designed to drive resistive or inductive loads with one side connected to ground. The device features an active VCC pin voltage clamp to protect against low energy spikes, as well as an integrated analog current sense that delivers a current proportional to the load current. It also includes active current limitation, thermal shutdown, and automatic restart to protect against overloads. Additionally, the device automatically turns off in case of ground pin disconnection.
