Overview
The ADUM6404ARIZ is a quad-channel digital isolator produced by Analog Devices Inc., featuring the innovative isoPower® technology. This device integrates an isolated DC-to-DC converter, which provides up to 400 mW of regulated, isolated power at either 5.0 V or 3.3 V from a 5.0 V or 3.3 V input supply. Based on Analog Devices' iCoupler® technology, this isolator eliminates the need for a separate isolated DC-to-DC converter in low-power, isolated designs. It is designed for high reliability and safety, with approvals from UL, VDE, and other regulatory bodies, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 transceivers, medical isolation, and isolated sensor interfaces.
