Overview
The ADUM1301CRWZ-RL is a triple-channel digital isolator produced by Analog Devices Inc., utilizing the proprietary iCoupler® technology. This component combines high-speed CMOS and monolithic transformer technology to provide superior performance compared to traditional optocouplers. By eliminating the use of LEDs and photodiodes, the ADUM1301CRWZ-RL avoids common design issues associated with optocouplers, such as uncertain current transfer ratios, nonlinear transfer functions, and temperature and lifetime effects. This isolator is designed for low power operation and offers stable performance characteristics, consuming significantly less power than optocouplers at comparable data rates.
